Intervention of AI and machine learning for optical imaging
Available on demand
Improvements in the technologies associated with optical imaging have meant that there is an increasing amount of better quality, finer resolution data made available for research and diagnosis. The increase in the total volume of data makes it more time consuming for the experts to view all the images from a scan, so training an artificial intelligence system to be able to quickly view images and flag potential abnormalities for review by an expert is of great value.
In this webinar we hear from Anna Kreshuk (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) and Ricardo Henriques (Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência) who will present on super-resolution microscopy, and how AI and machine learning can assist in developing our understanding of nanoscale biological processes, including viral infection.
