The seminar is aimed at individuals in the early stage of their career (Ph.D. or MD) who are contemplating undertaking research either as a primary career aim or at any individuals at any stage as part of their career development. It will consider the who, why, what and where of research and development. The seminar will be based on the speakers experience on developing a research laboratory and research track record from scratch. It will consider strategies to get started in research, topic selection and the crucial aspect of how to acquire funding and then establish a funding base.

This webinar comprises of three following presentations of 20 min each followed by 20 min of panel discussion at the end.
