How apprenticeships can develop the future beyond the pandemic

with The Open University and The 5% Club

Thursday 11 February, 10:00 - 11:00

The Open University’s Business Barometer 2020 found that almost half of employers acknowledged that apprenticeships and work-based learning programmes will be vital to their recovery over the next year. In this webinar for National Apprenticeship Week, The Open University has teamed up with The 5% Club – a dynamic movement of employer-members working to create a shared prosperity across the UK by driving 'earn and learn' skills training.

This webinar will discuss the results of a new survey on employers’ very latest approaches to apprenticeships. The expert panel will explain how apprenticeships can play a part in the rebuilding from COVID-19 and how some of the barriers can be overcome to secure a bright future for skills development. There is also the opportunity to ask the panel questions in advance and take part in a live online chat during the session with experts from The 5% Club, Amazing Apprenticeships and The Open University.
