Due to its inherent instability and immunostimulatory properties, the use of exogenous mRNA in therapeutic applications has previously been limited. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the development of mRNA vaccines, including the integration of techniques to improve mRNA functions. One such technique is chemical modification, which can be incorporated throughout the mRNA sequence to modulate its translational activity and immunogenicity.
In this webinar, Dr. Chunping Xu, Senior Director of Chemistry R&D at TriLink BioTechnologies, will provide an overview of mRNA applications in vaccine and therapeutic development. She will also discuss mRNA cap modification, base modification, and tail modification, their impact on protein translation and immunogenicity, and the characterization and analysis of synthesized mRNAs.
A live Q&A session will follow the presentation, offering you a chance to pose questions to our expert panelist.
