The recent decision to abolish NHS England has only deepened the sense of instability, leaving many within the profession feeling increasingly concerned and uncertain about what lies ahead.

Is genuine reform still possible – or are we facing yet more broken promises? As concerns grow around the affordability and sustainability of NHS dentistry, time is running out. With an exodus already underway, the BDA warns that even the best contract reform will be meaningless if there’s no workforce left to deliver it.
