With synthetic USD LIBOR and CDOR rapidly approaching the end, EURIBOR fall backs still needing to be implemented in the loan market, and South Africa embarking on JIBAR transition, the LMA’s work on IBOR transition continues. This update webinar will be divided into two parts and will cover:

Part 2 – Overview of the LMA’s exposure draft South African law rate switch agreement
This part of the webinar will focus on the LMA’s exposure draft South African law rate switch agreement which was published on 9 May 2024. This agreement is intended to assist the loan market in transitioning away from JIBAR to compounded ZARONIA. This part of the webinar will cover the background to, and key features of, the agreement.
