Aims & Objectives

During this workshop Faye Donald will discuss the rationale behind Piezon and will help participants differentiate between correct and incorrect technique by demonstrating the importance of tip selection, angulation, adaptation and lateral pressure.

Learning Outcomes

• Understand PIEZON No Pain technology and how its design guides technique.
• Discuss tip selection and indications for different treatment stages including implant care.
• Demonstrate correct tip placement and adaptation for supra and sub-gingival use.
• Demonstrate how to recognise instrument feedback and use it to improve technique.
• Show delegates how to correctly position themselves, their patient and their instrument for optimum access, efficiency and ergonomics.
