Neuro-Immune Interactions in Neurodegenerative Disorders
Available to view On Demand
The neuro-centric view of neurodegenerative disorders has been increasingly replaced with a more nuanced perspective, considering the appreciated roles for immune cells and inflammation both as potential drivers of and/or protectors from pathology and behavioral deficits. In this Cell Press Webinar, Li Gan (Weill Cornell Medicine), Oleg Butovsky (Harvard Medical School), and David Holtzman (Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis) will discuss emerging support for neuro-immune interactions as critical modulators of the onset and progression of neurodegenerative disorders.
