
A critical test is defined as a test that always requires rapid communication of the result, even if it is normal. A critical result is defined as a value or interpretation of a test approved by the medical staff that falls significantly outside the normal range and may represent a life-threatening value, even if from a routine test. Critical result reporting is important in the modern age and with the use of modern technologies must be looked at with a deeper perspective. This webinar will encompass the study/survey by Judit Gonda and also encompass interpretive comments in lab medicine for the modern age.
