Emerging technologies: What is the state of play within the UK built environment sector?

On-demand

Overview

Sponsored by

The digital transformation of built environment industries has long been a hot topic due to the sector’s historic lack of pace when it comes to adopting new technologies. But with the industry facing a host of new challenges from inflationary pressures to net zero and building safety reform, it has never been more important that emerging technologies are accepted readily and implemented within projects.

In this session, we look to discuss what the emerging technologies are for the sector in 2023 and how prepared firms are for their implementation. Our panel will also look to address what the major barriers to adoption are, how they can be overcome and the way in which new technologies can help firms navigate the issues currently facing the sector. They will also discuss ways in which these new initiatives can support the delivery of projects.
