Webinar: Data protection – get your pension scheme ready for the new rules

If you can’t attend our GDPR seminar in person or can’t afford time out of the office, sign up for our lunchtime webinar. The webinar will last 45 minutes and will include time for you to send in your questions to be answered by our experts.

This autumn, the Government will introduce a new Data Protection Bill aimed at giving people more control over their personal data and better protection for the digital age. In line with the new European requirements set out in the General Data Protection Regulation, the Bill will make significant changes to the existing data protection rules. Despite Brexit, the new European requirements will apply in the UK from 25 May 2018.

Join our webinar to find out what practical steps trustees and employers should be taking now to get ready. In particular, our webinar will focus on:
  • key steps that can be taken now in order to be ready for May 2018.
  • data protection governance and taking the steps that will ensure that schemes have appropriate policies and procedures in place
  • ensuring that trustee contracts with third parties stand up to the new rules
  • troubleshooting the questions that are coming up in practice.

By joining this event you can claim 0.75 hours CPD under the PMI CPD scheme.
