Aviation in a Climate Change World

Date and Time: 12:30pm (BST) on Wednesday 13th September 2023

The overall aim of the event is to promote experience and excellence in the hybrid and all electric aircraft field. UK industry and academia has a number of key stakeholders including Airbus UK, Rolls-Royce, the Aerospace Technology Institute, a number of battery developers and suppliers and a number of universities.

The event will examine latest developments in the field of hybrid and all-electric aircraft, intended for commercial applications. It is hoped that there will be a strong emphasis on real development programmes rather than academic research.

Several full development programmes are presently underway, and it is hoped that the event will be attractive to current practitioners. Link-up with UK and international industrial interests will be pursued in the set-up, again to maximise the industry interest in the event.
